05 — A letter from our founder

To every sister reading this,

When I first imagined Hijab Nation, I pictured a place where Muslim women in Uganda didn't have to choose between their faith and their dreams — a place where modesty was a strength, not a barrier.

What started as conversations among friends has grown into a movement: workshops in Kampala, an expo of women-led halal businesses, programs for the next generation of little hijabies, and a sisterhood that spans regions.

We are only getting started. Whether you join as a sister, a partner, or a quiet supporter, you are part of something larger than any one of us. May Allah bless your steps, and may we walk this journey together.
